I just bought my first grandfather clock. It is half size (hangs on the wall). It was pre assembled. I cannot make the pendulum keep ticking. There is one weight in the middle of the pendulum at the bottom. It also has 3 AA batteries. Two batteries are for the chime sound and the other is for the face of the clock (to keep time). It looks like it also has a magnet for the pendulum. The big circle on the pendulum looks like it is hanging a little croocked, so when it swings, there isn’t a completely fluid motion. I would like to make it work before I try to take it back (it was the last one and was at a clearence price. Any advice will help.
