How influential Arts and Crafts Movement on product design?

I own a shop on this subject soon. Try as I May, I see no link between the two. As for me, art was on a scale, while the product design is manufactured in series. Or is that someone has ideas I May be missing?

I have very few resources available on Arts & Crafts, and I do not know much about this subject, so you probably do not have the full perspective on this issue. AFAIK, Arts is clearly against the production of mass, but the design is very functional and deliberately violate the model before that time. I think this is the first time that designers have attempted to forward a political agenda with his work, too. IMHO, designs are not as influential, but they have influenced how they work and how designers design has been charged. Reduced to its simple function and focus on the design, testing of different materials and production methods later, designers, are partly influenced by Arts & Crafts.
