I recently bought a hunter’s cuckoo clock with the dancing people. It has three chain pulls and weights- I’m guessing, one for each of the qualities (the clock, the cuckoo bird, and the dancing people).

I have two questions..
1) How do I know which weight goes on which chain pull?
2) When the minute hand gets to about the 55-minute mark, the ticker stops working. Any help?

Bought the cuckoo in Switzerland. Thought I was scammed by some Chinese owner. But the rest of the clock works alright except having to wind an 8-day cuckoo every 2-3 days. Can someone tell me what’s wrong with my cuckoo clock?
It’s a two yrs old cuckoo.

Tried adjusting time time by going back and forth. But still the same result. Both the time and the Cuckoo mechanism are not getting synchronised. I’m from India. The clock was brought by my brother from Switzerland. We’re not very keen on showing the clock to the clock repair person here. When I start the pendulum it goes for about 2-3 minutes and then stops. I’ve checked and the chain is on the track and when I put a little more weight on the weight it does move the pendulum back and forth.

So when I hear the “ticktock” of the pendulum it’s even and the clock is level, but then after about 2-3 minute the pendulum continues to swing, but you don’t hear the “ticktock” anymore and then the pendulum stops shortly after. Any thoughts on what’s wrong?
FYI the clock is only 6 months old. We got it in may.
