Reptiles now more popular than dogs

Reptiles as bearded dragons, snakes, geckos and how they are now the most popular pets are dogs, new research has found.

Calculations of the Federation of British Herpetologists (BFH) indicates that there are no fewer than 8,000,000 of reptiles and amphibians as pets in the UK. This compares to an estimated dog population of 6.5 million.
