DAY 01:
You board your flight to Nairobi, Kenya, Europe
DAY 02: NAIROBI NATIONAL PARK
Get a good flight to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi JKIA about 8.30 pm and once through immigration formalities, we have collected our luggage and met the guides and friends Joseph and Nick. Once outside the airport that we present to our drivers the possibility to load luggage in the vehicles. There is no time to mess around, we went to our African Safari. A short walk took us to the entrance of Nairobi National Park and birding began. DIA 03: NAIROBI – LAKE NAVAISHA
Everyone met in the morning for a couple of hours before breakfast observation birds. We wandered slowly around the Academy and soon amassed a good list of birds. DAY 04: LAKE NAVAISHA
We were awakened this morning by the magnificent African Fish Eagles called echoes a nearby lake. DAY 05: Lake Baringo
This morning we were at the beginning, for some, before breakfast bird watching. As we made our way to the bus that passes through many birds in and around gardens. There are now three Verreaux's Eagle Owls sitting in a tree and beautiful Northern White-crowned Shrike Martin and Wood to see all white morph African Paradise Flycatcher flew gracefully around bus parked near the entrance to the hostel. We then proceeded in the direction of the nearby cliffs. The first stop on the outside the hostel is Hunter's Sunbird food in a bush with two beautiful Sunbirds. On the road we stopped again as two Abyssinian Scimitar-bill flew across the road and at the same time, it is a facade Red Warbler and several Madagascar Bee-dining room, Blue Mousebirds-neck, a beautiful pair of Dark-song goshawk and a little more along a pair of African pygmy falcons and an Ethiopian Swallow. We also took along a magnificent view of the third owl species for the day a pair of roosting Northern white-face-scops owls. Another Cliff-Chat has been observed, and several Hornbills Jackson and a couple of Red Tinkerbirds count front. We're back to the bus and driven to the hostel, which ended the day with a look at a pair of Nesting Red-fronted Barbet. A Nubian Woodpecker was also seen, and then half the group stayed behind to see a pair of Bearded pics. After our dinner and checklists as we saw several hippos walk through the hotel. A little less intimidating, but it was White-winged Tomb of bats that inhabit the trees around our cabins.
DAY 06: KAKEMEGA
We had breakfast and then on our through the rainforest Kakemega. We had not spent more than two miles of a cuckoo of Africa was discovered sitting on a telegraph wire. DAY 07: KAKEMEGA
We were at the dawn of a breakfast, after which they could not resist looking for a small number of species in gardens. DAY 08: Lake Victoria – KAKEMEGA
