Why many young people take their clocks back?

I began to notice a large number of men have their clocks in his wrist back and right wrist with the time / setting the arm in or out of fingers rather than toward them. Why? Is this some sort of code or something else? I always thought that the clock was in the left arm and the adjustment time of the fingers?
