A bounce umbrella is one that directs the light and get over the man and shoot through umbrella is where the light is at issue through an umbrella translucent, which act like a big umbrella soft box. I think you may have about the type of bounce, so basically the white will give you softer, speculation, even spread of light, the money will be softer and less gold will be similar to money, but give a warm effect.
