Whats a reasonable price for having an antique wind up table clock repaired?

This clock is an antique wind up with a key dome covered table clock,it needs to be cleaned, oiled adjusted and the suspension wire replaced for the moving pendulum,My first quote is for 250.00, this seems high for me but I dont know anything about clocks.Can somebody tell me if this is reasonable or to high?

That sounds way high to me also. I would take it to at least three more shops, or at least call around to get a good idea of what it should cost…

My guys little advertisement and he has been repairing clocks for 50 when had it serviced suspension wire replaced and few other parts it was only 100 more check in the front of.
For over 30 years he has been repairing clocks for 50 when had it also sounds high to me have mantel clock which gets cleaned annually for 50 when had it serviced suspension wire replaced and few other parts.
