Voice Command?

Ok, so I do not really have much control over my voice and sounds sometimes as if he had an accent when they are and generally not really the kind of his forte. I read that breathing from your diaphragm and speaking from the back of the mouth can make your voice more serious and consistand but I was wondering if the song or anything else can help control how it sounds. Also do you think a speech therapist can help me?
