Every day we see women and men with all different types of jewelry, without stopping to really think about it. Why do people use and when did jewelry practice? What type of jewelry people use and what is it? What metals and gems people use to make jewelry and different types are they?
A brief history
There are plenty of archaeological evidence that proves that the ancient Egyptians, Greeks and Romans wore jewelry. Most Egyptian jewelry was made of gold. The ancient Greeks used gold and precious stones like amethyst and garnet necklace beads and earrings in fashion. The Romans used many materials, including timber, gold, amber, emeralds and garnets of novelties.
In medieval Europe the thirteenth century, a law was adopted in some countries have outlawed except for the richest people wear clothes and sumptuous decoration. Each person should dress according to their rank in life and some jewelry and materials have was strictly prohibited for those under a certain range.
In the seventeenth century jewelry was considered an essential element of the Guard woman's dress. A lady would not be seen in public without her earrings and ornaments. The most precious jewels of the collection of a woman has been registered for the night. However, it was not until the Victorian era that the widespread use of the spread of jewelry in the United States. Advances in technology mean that it was easier to make jewelry so that more people can use. However, even the richest women heard expertly crafted elements.
Different types

Reasons for use
Why why women (or men) to wear jewelry? The most obvious reason why we use it to improve physical appearance. The right strap or a pair of earrings can complement a team to make the user feel more attractive and confident. However, there are also other reasons for why people choose to wear jewelry.
Some people like to wear certain articles containing precious stones, because they believe they can regain their mental energy, physical or spiritual or internal balance chakras. For example, GEM semi-precious amber is supposed to cure or least alleviate medical conditions such as lung infections, asthma, seizures, ear pain and rheumatoid arthritis. Reiki healers also claim that amber was calm and relaxation for anyone who wears it.
Many people also wear jewelry as a token of his faith. Crucifix, St. Christopher pendants, rings, purity, mezuzah pendants, rosaries, Star of David necklaces, Islamic prayer beads and the Buddhist symbol of bracelets are just some elements that are used or used for religious purposes.
