What is the real difference between Swiss and Japanese watches in terms of material used and the resistance?

I have two Switzerland (Longines and Frédérique Constant) and Japanese (Orient Automatic 200m Divers) watches. I know Swiss ETA movements. I want to know if professional analysis and compare with materials and point of view of resistance, not the prestige and price, are often unreliable.

Just guess the same technology as the difference is only the country of manufacture.
