How do I dispose of old leather dust / smell to the inside of a vintage leather bag?

I bought a vintage leather bag is not lined inside and suede on the inside has an old musty smell it. I wonder if there are ways to get rid of the smell, or make it less visible. I would appreciate your suggestions!

Place a sheet in the dryer and close for a few days. You also have the cigarette smoke. I bought a used book that smelled of cigarette smoke. Sheets for the dryer to do. There is oil in the dryer sheets. There was nothing in the pages of the book when I took the leaves out. The pages were clean and spotless. I see tells people to wash. This is where water from the skin and destroy value if it is truly a vintage bag.
