Breitling Wristwatches – the Navitimer

If you look in the display of almost all the jewelry, you will see a series of watches for men who are described as "Aviator" "Pilot" or "crew", but it is unlikely that any of them would be seriously considered by pilots to assist in planning flight duties. These watches tend to be designer items whose primary task is to find the right one. If it is a real aviators watch you are looking for, then just go for a Breitling watch, and the Navitimer in particular.

Breitling Why? Well, over the past 100 years, more or less have been the choice of professionals, having forged close links with the aviation industry, both civil and military, to by two world wars and the new millennium. Breitling watches have been issued to crews of the RAF during the Second World War and were the standard for the monitoring of air forces around the world since then.

The Breitling Navitimer is now over 50 years and is considered by many as the incarnation a quarter of aviators. Testimony to its design, is the fact that, despite many advances in surveillance technology over time, design and features have changed little. This classic Breitling watches can be used to calculate fuel consumption, air velocity, the rate of descent and conversion of standard miles into nautical miles. All these calculations are possible by using the circular slide rule calculation, can be found on the side of bridge – the first of its kind in the world, developed by Breitling.

A variation on the famous is the Breitling Navitimer Navitimer Cosmonaut. Who won his name after becoming the first watch Breitling to go to space in 1963, led by astronaut Scott Carpenter. It was especially in the version of 24 hours per day because it is impossible to know if the space was day or night. Breitling Cosmonaut uses a 38 jewel mechanical movement string with a reserve of power that lasts longer than 40 hours. The chronograph function has an accuracy of 1 / 5 seconds, and includes a coating anti-reflective glass on the clock. It was, and remains, a true piece of engineering.

There are other variations Navitimer in the range, with models like the world – the greater the range, the most ornate Montbrillant collection that was a special commemoration edition, and the Chrono-Matic, the worlds first self-winding chronograph.

Although modern technology has rendered many analog chronographs obsolete, it is still a strong demand for masterpieces of precision, as the Breitling Navitimer watch. Not only are technically superior in many respects, but offer the user a sense of history and the distinction simply can not be obtained lower marks.
