What can I do with my water damage caused by the ringing phone Verizon Wireless?

Last night, I took my belt ENV2 Verizon Wireless, as always. The clip broke and the phone fell into water. Should not be able to obtain a new phone for little or no money? I did not damage it. In addition, I called Verizon and the man is basically laughed at me for even asking and said that it is very bad, he will do nothing about it. And he does not want to transfer me to someone else.

Unfortunately, your warranty does not cover water damage. Sorry, wish could help more.
