I have a retriever mix and pyran that a dog is outside and we used a large number of fleas and ticks and resources, we can not keep out of ticks around your eyes. Even took him and neutralized to the vet and put him in treatment. Is there anything that someone has used which allowed them? It is truly a long-haired dog. Please help.

Even if the dog is kept inside and out is my dog poop inside that ticks will be more than five minutes! Keeping a dog outside is not is cruel, as food, water, shelter, veterinary care and love and attention. Well, now that I am alone in my chest … I recommend the use of first line to keep off the ticks. Make sure that topical ointment on the skin, not just the hair. Hair on the back of the application to the skin. Frontline (or Advantix) is what we use in our 6 dogs. Advantix is applied in the same manner and also helps control mosquitoes. Both products repel fleas and ticks. And they are waterproof. They working on their long-haired dog, if the drug you all the way into the skin, not just hair. The products work with oils on the skin throughout the body. Do not bathe your dog for a day or two before applying the medication and wait a day or two before swimming. This also applies to swimming, etc. .. If you decide to try one of these products, be sure to get your veterinarian or pet 1 800 drugs. Many places to buy these products and seek sell them illegally. Sometimes fakes are made that can affect your pet. And if you do not buy drugs from a veterinarian for animal companionship or 1 800 drugs, company can not guarantee if something goes wrong. … Good luck and do not listen to critics of having a dog outside.
